"Dante's Inferno" is a half-hour episodic that takes the audience each week into the gritty underbelly of an imaginary, sinister metropolis where the Devil deals out hellish, supernatural scenarios to unsuspecting people. Think "Twilight Zone" & "Alfred Hitchcock Presents" meets a film noir styled "Sin City." The men are as tuff as nails and the women are as deadly as they are beautiful. The city is forebodingly named "Gomorrah," in reference to the biblical city destroyed by God for the sinful ways of the people living there. The element which ties each episode together is the place where each story begins: a seedy bar named "Dante's Inferno." The bar is located on 6th Ave and 66th St and has Rodin's "Gates of Hell" sculpture for an entrance. The owner and bartender is DANTE, a fifty year-old pirate of a man who has a weathered face and penetrating eyes. He is the diabolical guide who introduces the audience to each new story and leads us along one morality play after another. As an agent of the Devil, Dante is placed in each story through one of the supporting characters involved. With the flash of his sinister smile and glowing eyes, his true identity is briefly revealed at the end of each episode. Be careful what you yearn for, because Dante has the power to make people's wishes come true with a horrible twist that leads them into a hell on earth. Currently, there are six completed half hour episodes with numerous others in development. These six episodes are:
